Victorian IBAC survey on perceptions of corruption open for submissions

Victorian IBAC survey on perceptions of corruption open for submissions2

Victoria’s Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission (IBAC) is inviting HSV suppliers and health services to participate in a survey on perceptions of corruption in the public sector.

The IBAC survey aims to better understand perceptions about public sector corruption and barriers and drivers to reporting.

IBAC is the agency responsible for preventing and exposing public sector corruption and police misconduct in Victoria.

The views of suppliers are particularly important given they can suffer loss from procurement-related corruption.

The 12-minute online survey is open until Friday 10 May 2024 and participation is entirely voluntary and anonymous.

All responses will be de-identified and analysed at the aggregate level so it will not be possible for an individual or organisation to be identified.

The survey is not related to any IBAC investigations and is not designed to identify individual instances of suspected corrupt conduct or misconduct.

IBAC has engaged an external research consultancy, EY Sweeney, to collect and analyse the data and will publish summary findings on the IBAC website later this year.

The survey will provide an overview of the corruption and misconduct landscape across the Victorian public sector and explore how this is changing over time.

For information on IBAC or to report suspected corrupt conduct visit www.ibac.vic.gov.au.
