New seamless access to online learning now available

New seamless access to online learning2

Health service employees will soon be able to access HSV’s online learning modules directly through their own learning management system (LMS).

“Our health service customers asked for a simpler way to access our probity, integrity and ethics online learning programs,” says HSV Director Customer Engagement Alfred Matthews.

“We have successfully piloted a new seamless solution that can interface with a health service’s LMS, doing away with the need to sign into HSV’s Echo Platform to undertake our eLearning modules.”

“It also gives health services more control over all aspects of HSV’s online learning, including who is assigned training at their service,” says Alfred.

Benefits for health services include:

  • integration with the health service’s LMS
  • control over which employees are assigned the training
  • full access to employees’ training progress and completion status
  • immediate access to probity, integrity and ethics courses, new modern slavery modules and any other training released by HSV.

HSV successfully conducted a pilot with Latrobe Regional Hospital, Western District Health Service and Echuca Regional Health and the new LMS integration tool will be introduced at these services in early November 2022.

The new tool works with a health service’s existing LMS. If a health service doesn’t operate an LMS they can continue to access online learning through HSV’s ECHO system.

Thanks to our pilot health services for their help and introducing the new tool first. HSV will work with other health services to implement the new tool over the next six months. All current and future courses developed by HSV will be available through this one-step process.
