HSV recently invited more than 2,200 registered suppliers to participate in a survey issued by the Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission (IBAC) in Victoria to better understand perceptions about public sector corruption and barriers and drivers to reporting.

“HSV supports the work of many stakeholders and we were very pleased to work with IBAC and share this survey with our registered suppliers,” says HSV Executive Director of Finance, Risk and Governance John Delinaoum.

“Probity is a key function HSV supports and delivers under the Health Services Act 1988 (Vic).

“This initiative to help our people and stakeholders to do the right thing and promote open communication and transparency shows that HSV is integral to the state’s governance framework beyond the health sector,” John says.

IBAC is the agency responsible for preventing and exposing public sector corruption and police misconduct in Victoria.

The survey responses will provide a picture of the corruption and misconduct landscape across the Victorian public sector and explore how this is changing over time.

Participation was entirely voluntary and anonymous. The survey closed on 26 May 2022 and IBAC will publish summary findings on its website in the second half of 2022.
