HSV Customer Survey coming in April

HealthShare Victoria’s (HSV) 2022 Customer Survey will be sent to health services on Wednesday 20 April 2022. The survey is the first for HSV since being established in January 2021.

“The survey highlights the importance of health service feedback and input on HSV initiatives and services,” says Director of Customer Engagement Alfred Matthews.

“We are looking forward to hearing your ideas, what you value most about our services and how we can improve them to continue to provide your organisation with the most effective support. Health service input into HSV programs is extremely valuable in helping us to maintain high standards and improve the services and support we provide.”

“This is especially the case since our operations have expanded from a sole focus on procurement to end-to-end supply chain services, a far greater expanse of service including procurement, logistics and surety,” he says.

The survey is aligned with HSV’s key supply chain focus areas – logistics, procurement and surety – to help us understand how to focus our services to deliver the best results for Victoria’s public health services.

The survey will take less than 10 minutes to complete. Feedback gathered is considered as part of our continuous improvement on how HSV delivers value through supply chain services. This includes discussion with management and the HSV Board and development of an action plan to better support health services as part of our strategic and stakeholder roadmaps.

“We look forward to sharing this plan and working together towards mutually beneficial outcomes,” Alfred says.

HSV has implemented several initiatives in response to feedback from the last (HPV) customer survey in 2020. These include:

  • establishment of a two-year Procurement Activity Plan (PAP) that is reviewed every six months in consultation with health services
  • conducting compliance workshops on how to scale the implementation of the Health Purchasing Policies, with the aim of reducing the administrative burden on health services
  • the development of an online contract management course for health services
  • improvements to the HSV website interface.

Strong engagement and positive suggestions on areas for improvement and focus were received in response to the last survey in 2020 and we hope for a similar level of engagement this year. Health service responses are greatly appreciated by close of business on Wednesday 4 May.
