Product tracking

When a supplier delivers to a site within HSV’s supply chain network, that is the location to which the supplier tracks the item.

Suppliers are responsible for tracking individual products or batches of products to their delivery to the HSV distribution network.

HSV will track stock items that have not yet been distributed, and then partner health services are responsible for tracking products that have been distributed to their site/s.

In the longer term, HSV is exploring product tracking alternatives to enhance the product recall system and increase patient safety.
