Eligible services

HealthShare Victoria (HSV) provides access to its collective agreements for eligible health and related service organisations across Victoria. Becoming an eligible service allows organisations to purchase contracted goods and services under the same pricing and conditions available to Victorian public health services.

What is an eligible service?

An eligible service is a health or related entity that is not listed under Schedules 1 or 5 of the Health Services Act 1988 (Vic) and meets HSV's eligibility requirements.

Eligible services may include:

  • Community health organisations
  • Women's health organisations
  • Ambulance services
  • Denominational hospitals
  • Aged care facilities
  • Bush nursing hospitals
  • Disability services
  • Multi-purpose services
  • Other health or related services as defined under the Act

Benefits of becoming an eligible service

Organisations approved as eligible services can access HSV collective agreements and:

  • Purchase contracted goods and services through HSV agreements
  • Access the same pricing available to Victorian public health services
  • Benefit from the same contract terms and conditions
  • Leverage HSV's collective purchasing arrangements to help achieve value and efficiency

Providing access to eligible services is part of HSV's legislative function and supports the broader Victorian health sector.

How to apply

To access HSV collective agreements, organisations must first meet the requirements outlined in the Access to HSV Collective Agreements Policy.

Step 1: Review the eligibility criteria

Before applying, ensure your organisation satisfies the eligibility requirements set out in the policy.

Step 2: Submit an application

If your organisation meets the criteria, complete and submit the Eligible Services Application Form for assessment.

Step 3: Assessment and approval

HSV will assess your application against the policy requirements. Organisations that qualify will be granted access to HSV collective agreements and may purchase contracted goods and services under approved arrangements.
