Hudson Global Resources and SPC Staffing Services

HealthShare Victoria is advised by the Department of Government Services (DGS) that the Labour Hire Authority has cancelled Hudson Global Resources’ labour hire licence, effective Friday 10 July 2026.

DGS is currently considering matters relating to Hudson Global Resources and the Victorian Government Staffing Services State Purchase Contract (SPC) following this announcement.

Hudson has advised DGS that it will appeal the cancellation at the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT).

DGS is continuing to monitor the situation closely, and will provide further advice as required.

Action required

DGS strongly suggests that any government customers employing Hudson contractors ensure they have a business continuity plan in place to minimise potential disruption to their operations should the cancellation be upheld by VCAT.
