HSV website outage 9:00am to 5:00pm Thursday 17 September

HSV’s website will undergo essential maintenance on Thursday 17 September 2026 between 9:00am and 5:00pm to implement enhanced multi-factor authentication (MFA) security measures. There will be no access to the website during this period.

Once the maintenance is complete, you will be required to use MFA when you log in to your HSV website account.

When the maintenance will occur

Maintenance will be completed on HSV’s website between 9:00am and 5:00pm (AEST) on Thursday 17 September 2026.

Impacts to website users

There will be a full outage of the HSV website during the maintenance period. Users will not be able to access website content or services while the upgrade is being completed, including:

  • My Dashboard
  • contract documents, including pricing schedules
  • tender information
  • JAGGAER Procurement Portal
  • The Victorian Product Catalogue System
  • secure website notifications
  • Compliance Portal and content
  • Nominations Portal
  • Sales data reporting
  • Exemptions Portal
  • ECHO eLearning.

Why this maintenance is required

The maintenance will enable the deployment of enhanced multi-factor authentication (MFA) security measures to help protect HSV systems and user information.

How to check if the website is operational

Following the outage period, users can visit HSV’s website as normal. If the website loads successfully, the maintenance has been completed and services are available.

What to expect after the change

Following the implementation of MFA, users will notice changes to the sign-in process when accessing their HSV website account.

Users will be required to verify their email address using a one-time secret code emailed to the address associated with their account. The process will be, as follows:

Step 1 -Sign in to the HSV website

  1. Select Sign in from the main menu.
  2. Enter your email address.
  3. Select Submit.

Step 2 – Enter your password

  1. Enter your password into the Enter password field.
  2. Select Sign in.

Step 3: Activate verification email

  1. Select the grey box containing your email address.
  2. A verification email will be sent to your nominated email address.

Step 4: Retrieve your verification code

  1. Open the verification email sent to your email address.
  2. Copy the Account verification code from the email.
  3. Return to the HSV website sign-in page.

Step 5: Enter the account verification code

  1. Paste or enter the Account verification code into the Enter code field.
  2. Select Verify to continue.

Step 6: Stay signed in

  1. Review the Stay signed in? prompt.
  2. Select Yes if you are using a trusted device and would like to reduce the number of times you are prompted to sign in.
  3. Select No if you are using a public device. 

Please note, selecting Yes does not remove the MFA requirement. You may still be prompted to verify your identity periodically.
