HPVC2024-010: Consumables and Related Services for Reprocessing of Reusable Medical Devices (CRS-RRMD)

Description

The Consumables and Related Services for Reprocessing of Reusable Medical Devices (CRS-RRMD) collective agreement provides a range of consumables and supporting services required for the reprocessing of reusable medical devices.

This contract replaces the “HPVC2020-010 Sterilisation Consumables and Related Services” contract effective 1 December 2025.

Contract Details

The Principal Period commences on 1 December 2025 and runs until 30 November 2028.

Option Period: 2 (two) x 2 years

Scope of the agreements includes consumables used to reprocess reusable medical devices and related testing services, including:

a. Sterilising Consumables used in sterilising departments for the reprocessing of
reusable medical devices; &

b. Testing and validation services required in the central sterile processing area. This
includes water quality and steam purity testing.

c. The scope does not include:

(i) Reprocessing equipment such as washer disinfectors, sterilisers (large and small capital equipment) etc.
(ii) Single-use or reusable medical devices e.g. surgical instruments
