Current Contract

Contract for the provision of Sutures, Skin Staples and Removers, and Tissue Adhesives for Victorian Public Hospitals and Health Services.

Contract Term

The original agreement term was 5 years, commencing 1 September 2021 and expiring 31 August 2026.
The agreement included a 2-year extension option.
HealthShare Victoria (HSV) has exercised the 2-year option, extending the agreement expiry date to 31 August 2028.
Following the exercise of this option, there are no further options remaining under the agreement.

Extension Period

The exercised option period will commence on 1 September 2026 and expire on 31 August 2028.

Any approved price changes associated with the option exercise will take effect from 1 October 2026.

Victorian Health Services

For the purposes of this agreement, Victorian health services are defined as:

Public Hospitals – as defined in Schedule 1 of the Health Services Act 1988 (Victoria); and
Public Health Services – as defined in Schedule 5 of the Health Services Act 1988 (Victoria).
