Ambulance Victoria data sharing agreement has been executed

The HPVC2025-225 Ambulance Victoria (AV) and HealthShare Victoria (HSV) data sharing agreement was executed on 14 May 2025 .

The agreement relates to data that AV uses to identify the correct accountable authority for service provision charges, for example, matching patients with relevant membership and concession databases. This provides an improved patient experience. The new data sharing agreement establishes an efficient and consistent process that simplifies data collection, reducing workload and time for both health services and AV.

For any Health Service that is not already participating in data sharing with Ambulance Victoria, please complete the participation form (also included in the agreement) and email it to David Andrews at Ambulance Victoria (David.Andrews@ambulance.vic.gov.au). Please copy in HSV by emailing a.matthews@healthshare.org.au.
