The HSV Procurement Activity Plan

We collaborate with health services biannually to develop the HSV Procurement Activity Plan (PAP) for the coming two years. We identify and assess potential suppliers through our extensive sourcing activities and select suppliers that offer the best overall value.

Our PAP is an overview of our planned sourcing activities and also lists our existing HSV collective agreements.

Renewing and transitioning to contracts

Under HSV Purchasing Policy 5: Collective Purchasing and Supply Chain requirement 2.2 a), mandated health services can only enter into contracts or renew contracts with suppliers for items listed in the PAP if they can legally terminate an existing contract. Please note: existing contracts may not include a transition clause.

Include a contract transition clause

Health services can use our contract transition clause to support transition to HSV collective agreements and we encourage health services to include the clause in their contracts as soon as possible.

Receive notifications when contracts are updated

Health services can elect to receive email notifications of updates to contracts and tenders by using our ‘favourite’ function. Visit the Contracts and tenders page for more information.
