The Procurement Activity Plan

We collaborate with health services biannually to develop our Procurement Activity Plan (PAP) for the coming two years.

The PAP is an overview of the sourcing activities we are planning. It is also a list of our existing collective agreements. We identify and assess potential suppliers through sourcing activities. Then, select and engage with an appropriate supplier that offers the best value.

New and renewed contracts under the PAP

Under HSV Health Purchasing Policy 5: Collective Purchasing and Supply Chain, Clause 2.15, mandated health services can only enter into contracts or renew contracts with suppliers for items listed in the PAP if they can legally terminate an existing contract.

However, existing contracts may not include a transition clause.

Contract transition clause

Health services can use our contract transition clause to support transition to HSV collective agreements. You will need to be registered and logged into this website to view the contract transition clause document.

To help transition, we encourage health services to use the clause in all contracts. They should do this as soon as possible.
