Refreshed Procurement Activity Plan now available

HealthShare Victoria’s (HSV’s) FY25:H2 Procurement Activity Plan (PAP), detailing our updated activities for January 2025 to December 2026, is now available on the HSV website.

To ensure that the PAP remains up to date and relevant, we review it every six months, including information on what has been delivered and what has changed since the last agreed version.

We thank health services for taking the time to provide feedback and input into our FY25:H2 PAP. Health services’ contributions are important in helping us deliver a plan that drives savings and benefits for the health sector and positively contributes to patient outcomes.

The PAP is designed to manage existing contract requirements such as extensions and options, while also implementing new agreements to maximise the value delivered, including cost reduction.

The FY25:H2 forecast includes 105 activities to be completed over the two-year period. The activities spend is $1.82 billion with total savings and benefits anticipated to be $118.7 million for FY25:H2, FY26 and FY27.

Changes since the last PAP were recently communicated to the sector and include greenfield categories and new opportunity assessments based on health sector feedback.

In addition, after the successful delivery of End Point Protection software, the Department of Health has requested assistance with six upcoming IT market activities.

In February this year we introduced a new way of conducting PAP reviews with our health service customers via in-person workshops. Following the initial success of this approach, we are now consulting with the sector on the FY26:H1 PAP workshops. As our feedback process continues to evolve, we are looking into different approaches that meet the needs of our regional and metropolitan health service customers.
