HPVC2024-194: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Description

Provision of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to Victorian public hospitals and eligible services.
The scope of this ITS covers the supply of Drapes, Clinical Protective Apparel, Examination & Surgical Gloves and Hand Hygiene & Chemical Disinfectant Products which will be outlined in the Statement of Requirement (SOR).

Contract Details

This contract, commencing 1/02/2026, is for the supply of Personal protective Equipment (PPE) to all Victorian health services. This is a consolidation of three separate legacy contracts which are:
i. HPVC2015-051 Drapes & Clinical Protective Apparel (DCPA)
ii. HPVC2019-019 Examination & Surgical Gloves
iii. HPVC2016-124 Hand Hygiene & Chemical Disinfectant Products.

There is a 3 month transition period, until 30/04/2026.

During this period:
- Products that are currently on contract and continuing with this contract can be purchased at the current (old) contract price until the contract expires 31/01/2026. The new pricing is effective from the start date of this (new) contract 1/02/2026.
- Products that are currently on the existing contract under any of the legacy contracts (Hand Hygiene, Gloves and Drapes) and are now not awarded can be purchased up until 31/01/2026.
- New products can be purchased at any time from 1/02/2026

Victorian health services is defined as:
- Public Hospitals (as defined in Schedule 1 of the Health Services Act (Victoria) 1988. and
- Public Health Services (as defined in Schedule 5 of the Health Services Act (Victoria) 1988)

 

NOTE:

The contract a five year principal period starting from 1/02/2026 to 31/01/2031 plus 2 x 2 years option available (2 + 2). This contract provides for consistent pricing across the State on a Free into Store basis.
