Contract Details
HealthShare Victoria’s new HPVC2022-222 State-wide Laundry and Linen Services collective agreement came into effect on 1 July 2025. The agreement covers the supply of clean linen to health services and collection, transport and laundering of soiled linen from health services.
The agreement includes linen supply and laundering, transport and staffing. The pricing structure has been split into three clear components to provide transparency when comparing options:
-
Base Linen;
-
Onsite Costs and;
-
Transport.
The Base Linen and Onsite costs are standard to the agreement, and the Transport component is specific to each health service.
Linen items provided and laundered include but are not limited to baby, bathroom, bedding, clothing, cleaning, drapes etc. The agreement also caters for laundering of items owned by health services (customer owned goods).
The current suppliers on the panel are:
-
Linen Services Australia/Ensign Services (Aust.) Pty Ltd(https://www.ensignservices.com.au)/
-
Gouge Linen and Garment Services/Goulburn Valley Laundry Service P/L (https://www.gouge.com.au/)
-
Eureka Linen/Grampians Health(https://www.gh.org.au/)
-
Princes Laundry Services Pty Ltd (https://princeslaundry.com.au/)

-

-

Each participating health service has a panel of awarded suppliers to choose from as per the HSV award allocation. Health services can therefore finalise Service Level Agreements with their preferred supplier from their allocated short list of suppliers.
Health services who insource their linen requirements (Grampians Health, West Gippsland Healthcare Group and Central Gippsland Health Service) and those who use shared service models (Southwest Healthcare shared service) are out of scope.
The contract is for 5 years with flexible option period(s) up to 5-years.
