Albury Wodonga Health explores supply chain innovation on HSV site visit

HealthShare Victoria recently welcomed Albury Wodonga Health’s Director of Procurement and Supply Chain Susan Plath and Supply Chain Manager Guiomar Breytenbach to HSV’s Derrimut Distribution Centre.

Albury Wodonga Health is exploring options to enhance its warehouse space and modernise supply chain solutions. The visit to the Derrimut facilities was a valuable opportunity to gain insights into contemporary warehouse design, technology and operational efficiencies.

HSV’s Head of Distribution Centre Operations Josh Lotter and Customer Relationship Manager Matthew Erickson led the tour of the facility.

“The visit provided an excellent opportunity for Susan and Guiomar to gain valuable insight from HSV’s Distribution Centre, guided by Josh’s expertise and experience, where the team could observe best-practice automation and a warehouse management system in a live environment,” Matthew says.

“Seeing HSV’s supply chain in operation highlighted the depth of their capability and the commitment of their team,” says Susan Plath.

“The visit has given us fresh insights and sparked a few ideas that will help us innovate and keep delivering excellence for Albury Wodonga Health.”

The tour will support informed decision making as Albury Wodonga Health enhances its infrastructure and service capability, and future-proofs its operations.
