HSV recognises that suppliers play a vital role in assessing and addressing the risk of modern slavery in Victoria's health service supply chains. To reduce modern slavery risk, the health sector needs to foster open and transparent supplier relationships which encourage modern slavery reporting and meaningful change.

HSV provides supplier resources with the aim of reducing Modern Slavery risk in the health sector by improving supplier awareness of modern slavery risks through awareness-raising and training.

The following resources will assist suppliers to understand their Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth) requirements and support suppliers that want to take a proactive stance against modern slavery risk.

Put together by Home Affairs, this guide provides information for individuals responsible for preparing a statement for their entity. Information in the guide covers background on modern slavery, the Act and what you need to do to comply with the reporting requirement.

The guide also supports entities wanting to report voluntarily.
